Yes -- we will have a regular Troop meeting next Tuesday, November 20th (despite the Thanksgiving school holiday).
December 11th -- Troop will take Christmas gifts to CAMC Women & Children's Hospital -- meet at church at 7:00 p.m. Wear Class A uniforms. Webelos from Pack 30 will also join us. Dr. Odekirk will make arrangements for us w/ hospital staff. Remember to bring a gift suitable for a sick child in the hospital, and one that can be "disinfected" (i.e. hard surfaces that can be wiped clean -- plastic toys, DVDs, books, etc. -- no cloth or fur or fuzz or hair).
January 19th -- Troop agreed to volunteer to host the council dinner on Saturday, January 19th at Baptist Temple. Mr. Porter will check on availability of the church activities hall…….. and Mr. Porter & Mr. Williams will follow-up w/ the council folks. Will need all boys & adults to help w/ this event -- cook & serve spaghetti dinner -- set-up & serving & clean-up. This will be a group fundraising activity for our troop.
Everyone needs to think about whether or not we want to try the ski weekend at Timberline in Canaan Valley in early March…….if so, will need to schedule it soon. It will also involve some fundraising to help cover expenses (cost for the scout ski weekend package deal is $150 per person). Need to make a decision on this soon (next week ?) if we're going to reserve the lodging package.
Thanks to Mr. Canfield for this information. _________________ I used to be an Eagle, a good old Eagle too, but now I'm done with Eagleing, I don't know what to do!

I think we should just go to dilley's mill. we don't have anybody in the troop who are really skiers and this trip is expensive. _________________ Rootbeer is the nectar of god.

Despite being a skier, I agree. Going to Dilley's Mill would be a good trip to take the Weblos from Pack 30 with us. Whether there's snow or not, we'll always have a good time running around camp.
